Year 3 - The Quiet Magic of Penmanship
Our students have been working tirelessly to master the elegant loops and fluid connections of cursive writing. Watching them navigate the "swoops" of a lowercase g or the tricky bridge of a cursive b, you can see the pride they take in their progress. This isn't just about legibility; it’s about fine motor precision, patience, and the art of slowing down in a fast-paced world. We are incredibly proud of the grit and focus our Year 3 learners are showing as they turn each page into a work of written art.
Year 4 Class Visit
A huge thank you to all the amazing Year 4 parents and carers who joined us in the classroom on Friday 15th May 2026! The students were absolutely thrilled to give you a sneak peek into their daily learning and to celebrate at the assembly afterward.
Thank you for your continued support and for making the day special for our students. We love welcoming you into our school!
Year 5 - Learning Spotlight
This week, Year 5 stepped into the shoes of expert navigators as we explored the exciting world of Position! The students dived deep into mastering grid map references, understanding the coordinate system, and learning exactly how to plot coordinates like pros.
To put their new skills to the test, the classrooms transformed into strategic command centers for an epic game of Battleships! There was focus, lots of laughs, and plenty of friendly competition as students went head-to-head to locate and "sink" each other's fleets using precise coordinates. Check out the photos below to see our brilliant mathematicians in action!
