Year 11 & 12 Study Support

During recent study sessions, our Year 12 students worked alongside the Wellbeing Team and Headspace to explore practical strategies for maintaining wellbeing while balancing study, rest and self-care.

Headspace guided students through a mindfulness and meditation session, giving them the opportunity to unwind and re-centre themselves. Students also participated in a workshop exploring sensory items and how these can be used to assist with focus and stress management during their studies.

Our Wellbeing Team shared a range of practical strategies to help students manage stress during VCE and navigate the transition beyond secondary school.

Year 11 students have also taken part in a similar program during their recent study sessions, further supporting their wellbeing alongside their academic commitments.

Do it for Dolly Day

As part of Do it for Dolly Day to raise awareness of Dolly’s Dream, students across the school engaged in a range of meaningful initiatives focused on kindness, respect and standing up to bullying.

Year 7 and 8 Wellbeing classes participated in a poster competition, with entries to be displayed in the LRC. Our Wellbeing Captains will select the winning designs, with prizes awarded for standout contributions.

During Pastoral Care, Homeroom teachers facilitated discussions using sentence starters from the Dolly’s Dream website, encouraging students to reflect on how they can be part of the change, practise kindness and act as upstanders against bullying. Homerooms also took part in a mindfulness activity, designing butterflies as a symbol of the Dolly’s Dream message, reinforcing empathy, connection and support for others.
