Term 2 Excursion to Sea Life Aquarium

This term the JLA students took a deep dive into the underwater world during their exciting excursion to the Sea Life Aquarium! 

From the moment they arrived, it was a day full of wonder, learning, and lots of curious questions. Students came face to face with some of the ocean’s most fascinating creatures, including waddling penguins, graceful stingrays, gliding sharks, and tiny, twirling seahorses. Each exhibit sparked excitement and inspired thoughtful observations that students have now been using to write their own information reports in class. A special highlight was the 4D screening of Happy Feet, where the students didn’t just watch the movie, they felt it!

It was a fantastic day filled with hands on learning and ocean inspiration. We can’t wait to see how this experience comes to life in the students' writing!
