Hello from 4C

4C has had a fantastic start to the year, with students embracing a range of exciting learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.
In the classroom, students have recently created informative posters about endangered animals, developing their research skills while learning about the importance of protecting wildlife and caring for our environment. During Literacy, 4C has thoroughly enjoyed reading The Arrival and Kensuke’s Kingdom. Through discussion, drawing and creative responses, students have deepened their understanding of the texts and shared their ideas with confidence.
In Mathematics, students have been focusing on the four operations and strengthening their problem-solving skills. Maths with Mr Jellie has been a particular highlight, providing engaging opportunities for students to work collaboratively, think critically and explore mathematical concepts in a hands-on way.
Outside the classroom, 4C has enjoyed participating in Bike Education, developing confidence and learning valuable road safety skills. Students have also taken part in many memorable experiences, including the excursion to Gumbuya World, Cross Country, Athletics Day and a Hockey Clinic.
It has been wonderful to see the enthusiasm, teamwork and growth shown by the students in 4C throughout these experiences. We are proud of all that the class has achieved so far this year and look forward to many more exciting learning opportunities in Semester Two.
