9A JOINS THE AUSSIE BIRD COUNT!

Last Friday, our Year 9A students took part in the Aussie Bird Count — one of Australia’s biggest citizen science events!

In just 20 minutes, the class spotted 19 different bird species, including a stunning Sacred Kingfisher — our 45th species identified in the past three months!

Birds tell powerful stories about the health of our environment, and with one in six Australian bird species under threat, every observation makes a difference.
