YEAR 10 HISTORY

NATIONAL VIETNAM VETERANS MUSEUM
The Year 10 History class recently visited the National Vietnam Veterans Museum in Newhaven. The excursion tied in perfectly with our current studies on the Battle of LongTan, conscription, and other key themes relating to Australia’s involvement in conflicts in the Asia–Pacific region.
Students gained valuable insights into the experiences of Australian soldiers and the impact of the Vietnam War on both veterans and society.
A special thank you to Mr Smith for joining us on the day and sharing his fascinating anecdotes about training on particular weapons — a highlight for many students!
