THE VILLAGE

The Village: Supporting Student Wellbeing Together
The Village is all about keeping our community connected and celebrating the great things happening across our school. Each edition shines a light on the programs, people, and projects that help build a positive and supportive environment for our students.
This week, we’re proud to share something our students have been working hard on — the launch of our new Behaviour Matrix, designed by students in Ms Burdett’s Unit 1 & 2 Visual Communication Design class.
Our New Behaviour Matrix – Designed by Students, for Students
This week, we’re excited to share something very special with our school community. The official release of our Korumburra Secondary College Behaviour Matrix.
The Matrix was developed collaboratively by students and staff to reflect our shared values of We Are Respectful, We Are Resilient, We Are Kind, and We Try Our Best. These values capture what it means to be part of our school community and guide how we learn, interact, and support one another each day.
Adding an extra layer of creativity, the visual design for the Matrix was brought to life by students from Ms Burdett’s Unit 1 & 2 Visual Communication Design class. Their designs capture the spirit of our school through vibrant visuals and thoughtful representation of each value.
We’re incredibly proud of their work and of how our students have taken ownership of this process from start to finish.
Below you’ll find the student-designed versions of our Behaviour Matrix. A visual reminder of who we are and what we stand for.
