Greenacre Secondary Campus Update

Assalaamu Alaykum WRWB,
This term our year 12 cohort come back after graduation to complete their HSC exams. It is pleasing to see them back focused and determined to seal their 13-year learning journey with their best effort. We thank all teachers and support staff who have guided our students in every step of this journey and we ask Allah to grant our students success in whatever career path they choose.
We also encourage all our graduating students as they navigate their way into the outside world to keep steadfast on their religion and to put into practice all the graduate qualities that they have learned and lived at MFIS.
While year 12 are ending their schooling chapter, the year 10 cohort will soon begin their senior years adventure as they finalise their subject choices for 2026. This year the year 10 cohort will also be able to choose a NON-ATAR pathway as we continue to cater for all our learners.
Last week I had the pleasure to accompany a group of our 2024 graduates to Young, where they assisted in the Mosque Annual Open day. It was a great opportunity to stay connected with the MFIS alumni and see them contributing and giving back to the community.
Finally, last week we celebrated World Teachers Day with our staff. I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all our admin, counselling, support and teaching staff for the many sacrifices they continue to make to ensure that our students always receive the best possible outcomes.
Mr Omar Merheb, Head of Campus
