Basketball Lightning Premiership
We had a very exciting and fast-paced day down at Jubilee Park Stadium for both our Year 5/6 girls and boys team who competed at the Lightning Premiership District Event. In a round robin consisting of 11 mini games, we played off against our fellow Bayside District schools.
Both teams had some exciting, fantastic wins and both had some tough games and losses. The Division 1 results for our boys team was equal 4th place and our girls came in 5th place.
Congratulations to the following students who all demonstrated amazing teamwork, persistence and energy!

A huge thank you to Mrs Edgar and Ms Gatt for coaching and scoring and thanks to the parents and friends who came down to support and cheer us on - a special mention to Christina Peart for buying the busy teachers hot chips. Much appreciated!
Term 4 - Division Athletics Day
The following students will be heading to the Division Athletics Day in Week 1 of next term on Wednesday 8th October. Once again, congratulations to all. Next week, we will be holding lunch time practice sessions for high jump, shot put, relay and sprints on Tuesday, Wednesday and possibly Thursday for all students who would like to train before the school holidays. Students will be advised of their training day.
