Term 1 ISP City Excursion
On Monday 17th March, all our international students gathered together at Mordialloc Station and embarked on our Sea Life journey in the city.
Upon arrival at the Sea Life aquarium, the students were so excited when they saw the penguins as they have never been so close to seeing the animals. After 90 minutes spent exploring the sea life, the students walked to Federation Square for a picnic lunch, where they enjoyed playing with the seagulls.
We then headed off to our second destination: the Royal Botanic Gardens. The students were divided into two groups and guided by wonderful staff from the gardens. During the tour they learnt about various kinds of native plants, flowers and trees, the process of composting and ways they can be sustainable in their everyday lives.
Our third and final event was the National Gallery of Victoria - the Yayoi Kusama exhibition. It was a very productive day and all the students had a wonderful experience exploring the city.
We would like to express a huge thanks to Mr Daniel Tseng for organising such a wonderful event. We greatly appreciate the time and effort you put into making student surveys, organising educational and knowledgeable activities for the students, and your willingness to accommodate all student's diverse interests. Your diligence and thoughtfulness were felt by us all!
