Year 11/12 Art Making and Exhibiting Gallery Visit Excursion

On Friday, March 14th, Year 11 and 12 Art Making and Exhibiting students embarked on an excursion to two galleries: NGV Australia and The Outsiders Melbourne. At NGV Australia, students explored the Top Arts 2025 exhibition, showcasing exemplary works by young artists, and engaged with the Wurrdha Marra, which offered a deep insight into Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art. 

The students then visited The Outsiders Melbourne, where they had the unique opportunity to view a private collection of contemporary street art, experiencing the bold and dynamic works of urban artists. This excursion provided students with a well-rounded exposure to both traditional and contemporary art forms, enriching their understanding and inspiring their own artistic practices.
