Trenae Jia

Bupa has announced the recipient of the 2020 Dr. Evelyn Scott Scholarship as Trenae Jia; a Cairns resident of the Yidinji, Kuku Yalanji and Badu Island people.

Tahlulah Tillett

St Mary’s Alumni, Tahlulah Tillett, selected for Brisbane Broncos Women’s Rugby League. So proud!!

Kloe Dunbar-Reid

St Mary's graduate, Kloé Dunbar-Reid, was selected for the Olympic Changemaker Program 2019. After attending the QLD forum in Brisbane, Kloé submitted a video on sport and the community. Out of over 1000 students around Australia, she was one of 26 students selected to attend the three-day national summit held at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra. This was an amazing experience as Kloé met several Olympians and inspirational peers from around the country. Students worked together to produce several presentations surrounding the topics of sustainability, youth, rural areas and benefits of health. These were then presented to the CEO of the Australian Olympic Committee.

Kloé was an outstanding member of our community and we are thrilled she had this incredible experience in her final year at St Mary's.
