Family Connect

It was wonderful to see so many new families attend our first Family Connect meeting for the year at the Green Leaf Café last month.

This year, the meetings will commence at an earlier time of 5:15pm, with the endeavour to finish no later than 6:30pm. If a workshop or presentation follows on after this, we will be aiming for finishing no later than 8:00pm.

Our first interactive workshop for the year, which was extremely popular with over 100 parents attending, looked at the new Assessment Policies and Procedures, hosted by Mrs Clancie Neilson. We received wonderful feedback from our community following this workshop, and we thank Clancie for giving the families at SMCC the opportunity to ask questions and clarify the changes.

Next Tuesday 17th March, will be a General Meeting commencing at 5:15pm. Please feel free to come along. If you have any suggestions or ideas for future workshops/presentations, please let the school or one of the committee members know. See you then….
