Principal's Report

Dear St A's Community,

What a busy 2 weeks it has been at St Augustine's!

- Grade 3 & 5 NAPLAN

-St Patrick's Day

- Harmony Day

- Grade 5/6 Camp to Rumbug

- Grade 3/4 excursion to St Pat's Cathedral

- Grade 2 Assembly

-Earth Hour

-Ride to School

- Whole School Athletics and Lapathon!

We certainly know how to squeeze a lot in, with the next 2 weeks looking just as fun and exciting!  It has been great to see the students and community get involved in all the things we have to offer.

A big thank you to Mr Butland for putting together a great day today for the students.  It was a great way to come together and enjoy in the fresh air, fun and competitiveness of a sporting event.  Thank you to our wider community for coming and supporting your child/ren.

Another thank you goes out to all the families that have contributed to the Easter raffle, with many donations coming in.  Thank you for making this a success.  We do have a great day planned on Wednesday the 5th of April, to celebrate Easter.  We warmly welcome all of our families to attend the events throughout the day.

Well done to all the families who participated in Ride to school on Thursday.  What a great start to the day getting in a little exercise before the day begins and to embrace a healthier start to the day!

We have opened Prep enrolment for the 2024 year.  If you have a child that will be attending St Augustine’s Primary School next year and need an enrolment form, please let the office know ASAP.  This week we have had a number of tours and new families keen to join our community, and I need to be aware of how many spots we have available.  Thanks in advance.

Have a great weekend, take care, rest up and God Bless.

Ziggy updates!

Ziggy has settled into her school routine and has been at school this week twice.  Ziggy was lucky enough to have a sleep over at her secondary carers house and was lucky enough to enjoy the company of the Bolton boys!    Mrs Belinda Taylor, also took Ziggy to her first grooming appointment!   Ziggy has loved her interactions with the students and certainly has earnt her rest at the end of each of her school days.
