Next week is NAIDOC Week. The theme for this year is ‘Always Was, Always Will Be’. This recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. We are spiritually and culturally connected to this country.

This year it is being held later which means it will be during term 4 instead of the July school holidays. We will be celebrating with a flag raising ceremony on Wednesday 11 November at 9.10am with Uncle Moogy delivering a welcome to country. We will also be celebrating the completion of our Reconciliation Action Plan and the installation of an Aboriginal mural on the front of the school.
