Room 5 loves ‘Buddy Activities’!

Last week , Room 5 (Year 1/2’s) and Room 12 (Year 5/6’s) worked together as ‘Buddies’ to read and learn about books written by the famous author Dr Seuss. 

Students read together and completed activities that the students in Room 12 prepared for their younger buddies in Room 5  . 

Room 5 LOVE buddy activities because they feel valued and supported by their older peers, whilst having a lot of fun!

Did you know our much-anticipated Pen Pal mail arrived? Room 10 are very excited that their Japanese Pen Pal delivery reached our post box before the holidays! 

Earlier this term we made and sent some traditional Japanese New Year cards and in return we received some home made Christmas cards from them.

We had a great time reading through each other's mail. We hope to write to them again next year!
