Careers Day Out

This year is the 21st Birthday of Careers Day Out. This event has been organised by dedicated local community volunteers wanting to make a difference, through education options, career advice and even into employment.  Careers Day Out is one of the largest education, training and employment expos in Northern Victoria, with over 1,400 students attending in 2018 and growing every year.

This year Careers Day Out is proudly sponsored by La Trobe University and GOTAFE, helping all regional year 10 students to discover their career pathway, further training options or future employment opportunities.

Exhibitors will be providing interactive displays to provide students opportunities to get involved in hands on activities. With a vast range of exhibitors including TAFE’s, Universities, other training providers, industry associations, local industry, employers, employment and support agencies, we are sure the students will not be bored. Oh, and don't forget the Emergency Services scenario display. Watch as Victoria Police, Ambulance Victoria, CFA and Search and Rescue demonstrate their roles through an accident scene.

Date: Tuesday 30 April 2019

Venue: Multi-Purpose Pavilion, Shepparton Showgrounds

9:00am - 11.30am – Year 10’s

4.30pm - 7.00pm - open to the public (senior students, school leavers, parents, career changers & job seekers)
