He was born on 2 April,1805 and died on 4 August,1875.

One of WPSC’s English classes focusses on ‘Fables, Myths and Legends’. Students compare and contrast differing traditions, e.g. Aboriginal, Native American, Chinese, Greco-Roman, Indian, Irish, Norse and Japanese.
