PARENT/TEACHER INTERVIEWS

As you know our parent/teacher interviews are being held one day earlier than normal due to a student-free day on Thursday, 4th April, when staff from all 4 secondary State schools will be coming together for an important professional development day. So interviews are being held Wednesday evening, 3rd April, (4.30pm to 7.30pm) and Friday morning, 5th April, (9am to 12 noon). There is still time to book interviews times on XUNO or you can come to the school and book them at the main office.

VMG SELECTIONS FOR SEMESTER 2: Part 1

On Thursday last week all Year 8, 9 and 10 students were given their VMG selection sign sheets to assist them with their choices for next semester. These sheets must be signed by teachers then students go online to finalise their selections. The online selections must be completed by Friday, 26th April, first Friday back in term 2. If you are having any trouble with this process, feel free to contact Mr Tanner or Mr Goldrick who can assist you. They can also complete the online process for students if required at school.

VMG SELECTIONS FOR SEMESTER 2: Part 2

To help students collect those all-important signatures, why not take the teacher sign sheet to P/T interviews and have teachers sign at their tables. Then you can complete the online selection process over the holidays.

WINTER IS COMING

As the weather starts to cool, students will need to stay warm during the breaks. We offer three options: the new rugby jumper, the new spray jacket or the tekfleece jacket. The old woollen school jumper and the old design spray jacket can still be worn. However we do not allow hoodies or other non-uniform jumpers or jackets to be worn. We have an extensive range of second-hand jumpers and jackets available for purchase or borrowing. So feel free to come to the school to look at these if need be.

TERM 2 COMMENCEMENT

Due to Easter occurring late this year, Term 2 commences Tuesday, 23rd April (22nd April is Easter Monday). Also the first week back is a very short week as Anzac Day is on that Thursday, 25th April. So the first week back in Term 2 comprises the Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday only. We hope all students and staff have a restful and enjoyable holiday.
