Finally, the following special awards were presented.

Long Tan Leadership and Teamwork Award - Australian Defense Forces

The Long Tan Leadership and Teamwork Awards recognises students who demonstrate leadership and teamwork within both the school and the broader community, and who display strong values, such as doing one’s best, respect for others and ‘mateship’, that are integral to Australian society. This year, ADF have allowed for these prizes to be awarded to one Year 10 and one Year 12 at each school.

At Year 10, this award is valued at $250. The Year 10 student who has been selected by the College to receive this award has shown leadership potential, is a tremendously supportive person to all those around them and has been recognised for her extra curricula participation.

The Year 10 winner is Edna O.

Future Innovators Award - Australian Defense Forces

A new award that the ADF introduced last year was the Future Innovators Award presented to a Year 10 student. This student is renowned for their enthusiasm in STEM.

The winner is Charlene B.

David Martin Memorial Leadership Encouragement Awards

The David Martin Memorial Leadership Awards, which recognise leadership qualities, have been generously donated by the Lions Club of Edwardstown. There are 2 recipients for these awards which are valued at $300 each for one Year 11 and one Year 12 student.

The Year 11 student selected for this award has an encouraging and supportive character and been very active and involved in a range of school activities and leadership.

The Year 11 winner is Eve W.
