Senior School

On behalf of the Senior School Team I wish all our parents and students a very warm welcome back to School for the start of Term 4. It was great to begin this term with a Commencement Assembly on Tuesday, in which the overwhelming theme was “start as you intend to proceed.”

Term 4 is a busy one in the Senior School, with a range of exciting events planned. In this single term we will hold three camps (Years 8, 10 and 11), three formals (Years 10, 11 and 12), two Open Days, a Year 7 (2023) Induction, examination/assessment blocks for Years 7-10, the Year 11 (2023) Preparation Program, a significant number of excursions and incursions, a Summer Sport season, charity events, a Christmas Service, our Presentation Ceremony, and of course – the HSC Examinations that began this week. Students and parents alike are encouraged to engage regularly with the Portal Calendar in order to stay abreast of upcoming events. Parents are further encouraged to check that contact details are listed correctly in the Parent Portal so as to ensure important notices and invitations are not missed.

I look forward to seeing our students excel academically in their assessments, as well as in the diverse range of opportunities with which they will be presented this term. And, I look forward to celebrating them together as a community on Wednesday 7th December from 1:00pm at our Senior School Presentation Ceremony. Please note that this year Senior School Presentation Ceremony will be held entirely within the School day in order to allow more students to attend. Please save the date.
