Education Week

In Grade 1, we made marble runs using recycled cardboard boxes, egg cartons and other materials to meet the Education Week theme of "Move, Make and Motivate".  It was a fun experimental session in preparation for the Open Night! Families and other students enjoyed testing the marble runs that we made when they visited our classroom at Open Night.

Grade 1 Assembly Performance

For our inquiry unit, we have been focusing on Healthy Living and investigating what healthy foods there are.  We had discussions about what different kinds of nutrients vegetables can provide for our bodies and prepared a performance of the "Vegetable Song"! We all had a lot of fun singing and rehearsing for the performance.
