College Principal Report

Welcome back!

This week we welcomed back all year levels and staff and it was so pleasing to see the school return to what a school should be. Staff and students have enjoyed the opportunity to reconnect with each other and teach and learn face to face. A focus for our school over the remaining weeks will be to help students reconnect with each other, engage with their learning, and get ready for 2022.

We have 5 weeks left of the school year and we really will do all we can to make sure every child finishes as well as possible. In the time left we are also able to resume many of the other activities that make school a school enjoyable such as excursions, camps, sport, assemblies and most importantly – in a modified way - graduations

Year 12 Exams

Our Year 12 VCE students have begun their final exams which have gone very smoothly so far thanks to the organisational skills of Mrs. Robyn Hughes and Mr. Jono Boyd our Senior School Assistant Principals. Our Year 12's seem very happy to be able to sit their exam after an uncertain two years. 

School tours to resume

Tours of our school for prospective student are now available. Experience our school during a school day and you will see our school at work and learn about the educational opportunities and programs we can offer your child. Please contact the General Office on either campus to arrange a tour

Vaccination information

We will be asking parents to inform us of the vaccination status of their children. There are two reasons for this. Firstly, in the event of a school closure (as has happened several times in recent weeks) this in formation is important to us.  Secondly, as excursions begin again most venues will only allow fully vaccinated staff and students in and we would not want students to miss out on what are sure to be enjoyable educational opportunities. 

I do understand that you may not want to provide this information – but if we do not know Department of Health instructions say we must treat them as unvaccinated.
