Hello everyone,

A big thank you to the large number of parents who attended our first parent engagement evening on Tuesday 16th March. This covered “Parent Portal, Library Services and Introduction to Canvas”, It was great to have so many parents engaged and passionate about understanding the tools and systems used to support your children’s education.

To the College staff who supported the evening from catering to presenting on the night; it would not have been possible without you!

Applications from students and College staff seeking support in 2021 through the Family Connect Travel Assistance Program are beginning to roll in, so a gentle reminder to get your applications in for consideration as soon as possible.

Members of the Committee attended the Catholic School Parents Queensland - Diocese of Cairns AGM on Sunday 21st March. Attached is Bill Dixon’s Report to Cairns Diocesan CSPQ and overview document in relation to Cairns Catholic Education Community, Strategic Directions 2021-2024.

Our next Family Connect meeting will be Tuesday 20th April in the College Library at 5:15pm and all are welcome.
