District Athletics Training

In preparation for the District Athletics Carnival on Thursday 5th September, our team has been attending regular training sessions to ensure that they are ready to go for their event/s. A huge thank-you to Madame Higgins, Mr Wickham, Mr Milan and Mr P for giving up their time each week to assist with the training. We wish the 78 students across Years 3 - 6 all the best at the carnival. Check out Xavier (6DT) and Kelly (6JK) in action during hurdles practice.

Regional Netball Competition

On Wednesday 21st August, our Year 5/6 Boys Netball team competed at the Eastern Metropolitan Region Competition at Waverley Netball Centre. As you would have seen in previous newsletter editions, the boys progressed to this level after winning both the District and Division levels.

The boys performed exceptionally well on the day, winning one game and losing the other two. Thanks to Miss Grundy, who committed so much of her time to train and coach the boys, and to the parents who transported the students to and from the venue.

Year 3/4 Hoop Time Competition

Help Needed!!!

This is my final desperate plea asking for parent helpers to assist with coaching and scoring (no experience necessary) at the Year 3/4 Hoop Time Competition at the Dandenong Basketball Stadium on Monday 9th September. We are still well short of the number of helpers needed to successfully run the day. This is a fantastic day and we encourage as many parents as possible to assist.
