Fantastic French

BPPPS French Poetry Competition

All classes have recited, or will be reciting, their French poems this week.

4SC will be doing it next week due to the off site evacuation practice on Tuesday, August 27.

Class winners will be announced in week 8 and 9 and they will compete during Planning week.

The level cohort and teachers will vote and choose a level winner.

Class winners will receive CL@S certificates and level winners will be awarded French prizes.

"Merci beaucoup" to all students and parents who worked towards making this whole school event a worthwhile and, in most cases, an unforgettable life experience.

French Day celebrations

On Wednesday August 21 , BPPS celebrated our fifth French Day. Students and staff dressed in French related colours and character costumes.

"Jacques and Philippe" from Cultural Infusion, presented a French mime and music show to all levels. Students and staff were greatly entertained by their French themed antics with accordion and Marcel Marceau inspired mime acts.

Bravo to everybody who dressed up on the day. There were truly amazing, creative and imaginative  costumes and CL@S certificates were awarded for outstanding contributions.
