Biz - E - Kidz Update

Biz – E – Kidz  Holiday Program bookings are now open

Bookings are now open for the Biz – E – Kidz Spring 2021 Holiday Program. Families are encouraged to book the care they anticipate they’ll need at the time of the holidays, however, due to the uncertain nature of the current COVID-19 restrictions, please note:

• All bookings will be dependent on the restriction level at the time of the holiday program
• Bookings and programmed activities are subject to change at short notice.
• If current restriction levels continue, only families eligible to on-site school supervision will be eligible for care (authorised worker permits / vulnerable children) and incursions will be cancelled.

Please contact us if you have any questions regarding eligibility, restrictions, fees, or the holiday program. Thank you for your understanding and patience, we will update families via COMPASS when we have more certainty.

To make a booking:

1. Follow the link to Smartcentral or the bookings page of the Biz – E – Kidz section of the NMPS website and Click the ‘Apply’ button.
2. Log into your Smartcentral account using your email address as the login or sign up for a new account if you are a first-time Biz – E – Kidz user.
3. Click ‘Copy’ to begin your holiday program application.
4. Check all the information is correct and completed.
5. In the bookings section, select ‘vacation care’ from the drop-down menu and select your required days. Review your application and click submit.
   
   PLEASE NOTE: you will not be able to make bookings BEFORE Monday 30th August at 7:15 am.
   Confirmations will be sent via email on the week beginning 9th September 2021.
   Bookings close 3rd September 2021.  Any applications made after this date will be confirmed within three working days and are subject to availability.
   Deposits of $10 per child per day are due by Friday 10 September 2021. Any changes, cancelations, and 'no shows' after this date will incur a $30 per child per day fee

Child Care Subsidies During Lockdown

The Australian government has announced financial measures to keep childcare open and viable and families connected to services during this lockdown. These include:

Services can waive gap fees for Families. 

Families can keep their enrolments with Biz - E - kidz, ensuring they are available when restrictions ease. The government will pay the Childcare subsidy for these but let Biz - E - Kidz waive the gap fee ensuring there is no charge for families for unused care.

Additional absences for families. 

All families will be given additional ‘allowable absences’ for the lockdown period. 

From last week, Biz - E - Kidz will be allocating allowable absences for unused care due to the lockdown. The child care subsidy will be applied (if applicable) however no fees will be charged to families for unused care.
