Music News- Week 5

Open Day

As part of the College’s festivities for Open Day on Saturday 6 March, the Music Department will feature performances throughout the morning from the Swing Band in the Library Courtyard, and selected string performances at the Registration Tent. Additionally, the Performing Arts Centre will be open for those who wish to tour the facilities, with open rehearsals for the upcoming production of The Addams Family held in Roncalli Hall. All are welcome!

Twilight Recital

Entries are now open for the first solo performance opportunity of the year – the Twilight Recital. Held in the GBLT on Sunday 21 March, this concert offers small ensembles and individuals the chance to perform to an intimate audience of parents, friends, and other musicians. This concert is open to both Primary and Secondary students and is an ideal opportunity for performers to practice their pieces before exams and other assessments.

Students who learn through the College will have applications managed through their music tutors, while other students may collect an application form from the Music Office. Applications close on Monday 15 March at 4:00pm, and any queries can be directed to the Music Office.
