Desert Rose Playgroup – Welcoming Summer and New Beginnings

Dear Playgroup Families,

As we step into the warmth and brightness of spring, our playgroup mornings are filled with color, light and laughter. The garden is humming with life again — the trees are heavy with green, the flowers are beginning to bloom, and the beloved mulberry tree is bursting with deep purple fruit.

The children have been overjoyed to discover the ripe mulberries, delighting in picking and tasting them straight from the branches, their fingers and smiles stained with sweet summer juice.

At the end of Term 3 we said a heartfelt farewell to our long-term playgroup coordinator and Thursday/Friday facilitator Jemima Saw. Jemima’s warmth, creativity and care have been a guiding light for many years, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and connection that will continue to inspire our community. This term, Caitlin Conover, will be stepping into the role of Playgroup Coordinator — big shoes to fill indeed! We are also thrilled to welcome Nicole Crowe as our new Thursday facilitator, and Linnea will continue her beautiful work on Mondays while also guiding our Friday group.

To celebrate the season, we are sharing the gentle story of The Rainbow Fairies, a tale that captures the magic of light and color after rain.

Blessings,

Caitlin, Linnea and Nicole
