Last Friday, our school community came together for our annual whole-school athletics day. It was a beautiful day for athletics, and Meadow Glen was buzzing with families, volunteers and staff all there to cheer on the students and have some fun. It was an exciting day of competition, with several strong results following outstanding individual performances by our students. I would like to thank all the parents who came along and volunteered on the day; without you, the day would not have been possible. I would also like to thank all the staff for running the events and helping the day run smoothly.
Students who will progress to the next round (District) will be notified by Ms Northridge towards the end of the Term. It is anticipated that the next round will take place in June.
A big congratulations to Owen Stoneham for taking out the teacher race.

Well done to Dugat for being our 2026 Athletics House Champions.

Our Gold teams hosted Donnybrook PS today.
Both our boys and girls T-ball teams tried hard and displayed great sportsmanship, encouraging each other. Neither team came away with the win; however, there was improvement throughout the game.
The blue teams headed to St Mary's to play our local rivals.
Next week 13th March ISS Games
Gold Teams VS Mernda PS - HOME (WPS)
Blue Teams VS Mernda Central - AWAY (Mernda Central)

Henry Menz represented our school at the Division Swimming Carnival yesterday.
He came 3rd in his heat and 5th overall.
Fantastic effort, Henry, we are all very proud of you.

After week 6 and our Athletics Day points all added together, Dhulin is still in the lead,
but it is a close race.
