Instrumental Music Program 2024

Students from Years 3-6 can participate in our Instrumental Music program at Marion PS. As the program is taught by the department there are no tuition fees. Students can access instrumental music instruction from the Instrumental Music Service at school during school hours. Instruments available at our school from this service include violin, viola, and cello. The costs are noted below for the hire of the instruments and an invoice will be sent home each term for payment (this might be slightly less in the first term as we get the program underway) - 

Violin/viola - $50.00 per term

Cello - $85.00 per term 

An expression of interest form was sent home in Term 4 last year. If you are interested and haven't returned the form this needs to be handed in by the end of this week. Copies can be collected at the front office. 

We have a new Instrumental Music teacher starting with us this year by the name of Kirsty Friebe and sessions will be commencing from week 3 onwards. We are very excited to have Kirsty onboard.
