Introducing...

Antje Woodrow

Dear Marion families,

My name is Antje Woodrow – I know that one is hard to pronounce! I was born and raised in Germany. My travels have led me to many places. Winemaking kept me jetting between the hemispheres and it wasn’t until I met my now husband from Adelaide that I settled down in McLaren Flat. Long story short, we now have three amazing daughters (4, 6 and 8 years old), a dog and a beautiful life together.

So, if you find my first name hard to pronounce, I have been there! For me, life is about giving things a go. May that be languages, new interests, or places. Learning is about connecting – connecting with my students, connecting with nature and also about connecting with myself! It is this positive attitude towards learning for life that I hope to bring to Marion Primary School. As a fresh graduate teacher from Flinders University, I have a lot to learn! Please come and say hi when you see me out on school grounds – I look forward to meeting the school community at Marion!
