Dear Parents and Caregivers
So Much Happening!
It has been a huge couple of weeks at St Helena's with the performances mentioned below, Book Week and Book Fair, the Father's Day Breakfast and Liturgy, the Learning Journey, Art Exhibition and ExACT Expo, as well as class excursions taking place. A huge thank you to all our staff at St Helena's Catholic Primary School for your contribution to these events and to all our families for supporting the events and the students.
The Arts @ SHCPS
Congratulations to all our choir involved in One Big Voice at the RAC Arena and to our Creative Dancers who performed at the Convention Centre. Amazing spectacles and an awesome experience for our talented students. Thank you again to the staff involved, your time and commitment is very much appreciated. Thanks Miss Claire Robinson and Mrs Joanna Bukara for coordinating and to Miss Melissa Myles, Mr Luke Vine, Mrs Marilia De Carvalho and Mrs Vas Perrella for assisting with supervision over the 2 nights. A huge thank you to the parents and caregivers of these students too, for getting them to and from the events. Very much appreciated!
Home School Partnerships
Thank you to all our parents and caregivers for your support in ensuring that you have kept up with communications, supporting your child/ren and the SHCPS staff as we work together to support your child/ren's learning journey. In promoting our home/school partnership even further, please do not hesitate to make contact with your child/ren's classroom teacher to make an appointment to discuss how your child/ren is/are progressing this term.
Jumps & Throws Day and Athletics Carnival
Looking forward to next week's Jumps and Throws Day on Tuesday and our Athletics Carnival on Friday for our Pre-Primary to Year 6 students. Kindy have a mini Athletics Carnival planned for Thursday. The students, staff and Mr Clarke are all ready to go! We are still looking for more helpers, please read on, and if you are coming along, please volunteer some of your time.
Parish Mass
Hope to see many of our students and families in attendance.
At St Helena's, we are a Christ-centred and a child-focused community,
always striving to do Something Beautiful for God.
Peace & Happy Days!
