Number Fun in Prep!

Our Prep students have been busy little mathematicians! They had a fantastic time working together in groups to match number names, numerals and ten frames. It was wonderful to see their teamwork, growing number knowledge and enthusiasm as they explored numbers in a hands-on way. What impressive learning from our youngest learners! We are so proud of their efforts!

Jogging Club

Our Jogging Club has been enjoying getting active and building fitness together! Students have the opportunity to run, challenge themselves and have fun with their friends in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Jogging Club runs on Monday lunchtimes during the first half of lunch and Friday mornings from 8:15–8:45 am. Everyone is welcome to come along, get moving and enjoy being active! At the moment, we have been running on the basketball courts while we wait for the swooping plovers on the oval to settle down. We look forward to returning to the oval as soon as it is safe to do so.

A big well done to everyone who has been coming along and getting involved. Keep up the great work, runners! - Mr Klan

SIS Athletics – A Fantastic Day of Competition!

On Wednesday, 7 October, our Year 3 to Year 6 students travelled by minibus to the Mornington Athletics Complex to compete in the Northern Division Athletics competition. We were lucky to enjoy a beautiful day in the sunshine, with our students demonstrating fantastic sportsmanship, determination and school spirit across a range of track and field events. There were some outstanding individual performances, with several students earning podium finishes and our relay teams working hard together to achieve some excellent results.
