2016 – Short order cooks

Last week we celebrated the opening of the new Food Technology Centre with thanks to past student George Calombaris [MOC1996], generous community donors and the students who prepared a range of dishes for visitors attending the occasion. Food Technology classes have been an important area of learning for Mazenod students since the 1980’s and numerous students have followed it onto a career.

Today’s photos feature students from 2016 Food Tech classes who learnt how to beat, batter and boil from Mrs Paulette Weegberg. How many students remember learning the basics of chocolate chip cookies and decorated gingerbread houses during their Mazenod years?
