Mernda PS had a bus mix-up today and could not arrive in time to play our teams for ISS. This resulted in a forfeit and all our teams getting the WIN! All our gold teams were set up and ready to go, so they played some friendly games against each other, getting extra practice in before next week.
Our students participating in the school games enjoyed some time in the sun, then finished off with a few games of dodgeball.
Next week, Friday 8th May, ISS Games
Just a reminder that all students participating in Soccer and Football must wear a mouthguard every Friday and (& during practise time).

Our gold football team today were wearing our new indigenous football tops. Both the girls' and boys' football teams will be showing these tops off each week during our ISS games. We absolutely love these jumpers and what they represent.

On Wednesday, 13th May (Week 4), we are lucky enough to have some coaches from Basketball Victoria come to WPS and run an all-girls basketball clinic during sessions 1 and 2. These clinics are optional, and all 3-6 students are given the opportunity to participate. The clinics will focus on skill development and confidence in a fun and inclusive environment.

All houses have got off to a great start in Term 2, with many house points collected in week 1. Dhulin is still leading the way with all other houses following close behind.
