College Open Day

The College Open Day was held on Wednesday and is a crucial event for prospective students and their families, offering an opportunity to explore the school's culture, facilities, and educational programs. It provides valuable insight into the college's values, building community connections, and showcasing the school's commitment to excellence. Thanks to all visitors to the College and staff for their leadership of this important event.

It was especially pleasing to welcome many Old Collegians back with their sons, continuing a proud Mazenod tradition across generations.

Thank you to all who attended and are considering Mazenod College for their sons. If you missed the day, upcoming tour dates are available on our website.

Applications for Year 7, 2028 close Friday 14 August 2026.

Inaugural Mass

On Friday 27th February the College Community gathered at St Patrick’s Cathedral for our Inaugural Mass, to celebrate the start of the academic year. Our tradition of inducting the College leaders on this auspicious occasion continued and students were introduced to the congregation. Thank you to all involved in the enormous amount of planning and organisation.

Thanks to the Oblate Faith and Charism Team who co-ordinated a moving celebration of the Eucharist. I would like to acknowledge the leadership of the Oblate Priests who in the spirit of St Eugene de Mazenod have led this community with distinction for such a long period of time. I would particularly like to thank and acknowledge the altar servers, the readers, the liturgy choir, the brass ensemble, and the Mazenod College Music Staff. Thank you to His Grace, Archbishop Peter Comensoli for his support of the Mazenod College community and all the staff at the Cathedral.

College Closure - Friday 6 March

As a faith community, we gathered at the College last Monday evening to celebrate the Eucharist in memory of Chris Antony. More than 1,100 members of our community came together in prayer and support, a powerful reflection of the impact Chris had on those around him.

Chris’s Requiem Mass will be held on Friday 6 March at 11.00am at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Narre Warren South.

As a mark of respect, and to allow members of our community the opportunity to attend the funeral or watch the livestream, Mazenod College will be closed on Friday. We believe it is important that we pause together to remember Chris, honour his life, and support one another.

Those unable to attend may join the livestream here:

All the best,
