đź’¸GRANTS UPDATEđź’¸
Â
In the last fortnight, we have had the opportunity to submit a further grant application to the Bank of Sydney for the purpose of funding physical decodable readers and classroom resources to support our students in addition to the digital resources provided by the School. We look forward to providing you positive feedback in the coming months. Watch this space!
Â
In the meantime, we are always on the lookout for further grant opportunities. If our eagle eyed readers happen to spot any upcoming or open grant rounds and/or you have an idea towards any grant, please don’t hesitate to reach out to one of the P&C executives or email us at roseleapspandc@gmail.com.Â

RECENT EVENTS
PLAY & POPSICLES
What a wonderful turnout for our second Play & Popsicles & Popcorn event for the year! From the moment the bell rang, the sound of laughter and strong sense of community filled the air. TeamKids representative Stephanie joined us, handing out popcorn and taking the time to connect with families and students.
Â
Mr Love and the Year 6 students, together with their families, did an outstanding job organising games and coordinating a bake sale, raising an incredible $800 for their fundraiser.
Â
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making the afternoon such a success. Events like these are a wonderful reminder of the strength and spirit of our school community.
Â
UPCOMING EVENTS
Events rely on community support to make them happen. The volunteer sign-up sheet is now open for the school’s Disco and others will be shared closer to each event. We need at least 80% of required volunteer shifts filled 3 weeks prior to an event in order to keep it alive.
Â
By sharing the load, we can continue to provide the fantastic events and experiences our school community enjoys.
Â
Join a Term 3 or Term 4 planning team below – volunteer sign-ups will follow closer to each event.

After School Dance Classes
Term 2 Assembly Performance, Costumes & Fee Reminders
Â
Assembly Performance – Thursday 25/6/26
- Please be advised that both the K–2 and 3–6 After School Dance Groups will be performing at the whole-school assembly this coming Thursday 25th June.
- If you are available to assist students with changing into their costumes prior to the performance, your help would be greatly appreciated. Volunteers are kindly asked to arrive by 1:30 pm (CAPA Room). The whole school assembly will commence at 2:15 pm.
Â
Dance Costumes – 2026
- As part of a new costume structure for 2026, students will receive one dance costume as part of the annual costume fee of $85. This costume will be used across all dance routines for their respective group throughout the year and, unlike previous years, students will be able to keep their costume at the end of the year.
- The costume themes are:
- K–2: Back to School
- Years 3–6: Alice in Wonderland
- As we transition to this new structure, there has been a slight delay in the costume order. Therefore, for the Term 2 performance, students will perform in a black top and black leggings/shorts, which Ms Amy will provide and organise on the day.
Â
Term 2 Fees
Thank you to the families who have already paid the Term 2 dance fee. We are currently following up on outstanding payments. If you are yet to make payment, it would be greatly appreciated if this could be finalised at your earliest convenience.
Â
Years 3–6 Dance Rehearsal Cancellation – Thursday
