Digital Art
Students in Year 9 Digital Art have been working on exploring landscapes using photography and digital painting methods.
Year 7 Painting
Year 7 students have been enjoying exploring colour mixing and using acrylic paint to develop self portraits inspired by the artist Julian Opie!
Year 9 Ceramics
Year 9 Ceramics students have been learning about the Australian Indigenous group the Hermannsburg Potters and have been inspired to create their own coil pot.
Year 8 Animation
Students have worked throughout the semester to learn the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. Students recently finalised their first CAT - Stop Motion, where they had to not only create a narrative and characters, but work with materials such as DSLR cameras and Premiere to capture and assemble their animations.
Year 9 Photography
Students are continuing to explore shutter speed and aperture in preparation for their upcoming CAT: Analogue Processes, where they will use SLR cameras to capture and develop 35mm film under the topic of 'Weird and Wonderful Portraits'
