   Big Water Walk

Every day, 292 million people around the world walk long distances to collect water. This Lent, our school community will walk in solidarity with them by taking part in The BIG Water Walk on Tuesday, March 17th.

By participating in these activities, the students learn about social justice and live out the principles of Catholic Social Teaching. They also help to raise vital funds to support communities across the world who dream of a better future.

On March 17th, SJV will take part in a 'continuous walk.' The students will walk for 30 minutes with their year levels, and a number of students and staff have volunteered to walk in 15-minute intervals from 9:00 am until 3:30 pm.

Sponsorship forms have been sent home this week. Money can be donated online via the QR code on the form, or for cash donations, via the cash sponsorship form.
