Celebrating 100 Days of Learning!
Our Foundation students recently celebrated a very special milestone: 100 days of school! The excitement was evident from the moment they arrived, dressed as cheerful 100-year-olds and ready for a day of fun.
Throughout the day, students immersed themselves in a range of hands-on activities inspired by the number 100. They counted to 100, challenged themselves to write 100 words, created imaginative portraits of themselves at 100 years old, and worked together to build towers using 100 items. Every activity celebrated how much they have learned and grown over their first 100 days of school.
The fun continued in the kitchen, where students enjoyed making delicious fairy bread and decorating biscuits with colourful "100" designs. The disposition of creativity was on full display!
To finish the celebration, we were entertained by the incredible Steve the Magician. His captivating tricks, humour, and audience participation had everyone smiling and wondering, "How did he do that?"
Our 100th Day celebration was filled with laughter, creativity, and learning. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on how far our Foundation students have come, and we can't wait to see what they achieve in the next 100 days!
Yuvan: “I liked building a lego house. It was fun taking photos of everyone dressed up!”
Ivy- “I liked decorating the biscuits. The magician’s monkey was funny because he made funny faces.”
Leo: “Making and decorating the biscuits with lollies. The fairy bread had lots of sprinkles!”
Marco: “The lego was my favourite because we had to use 100 pieces and I made a boat.”
Sofia: “I made a pizza using 100 different pieces. The magician was very funny!”
Seleste: “Crafting, decorating and making fairybread was the best!”
Advit: “My favourite thing was dressing up as an old man.”
Leanora: “I liked being together and doing fun things!”
Golden Children
STEM
Congratulations Jon and Noah (Year 1- Jacaranda), Vincent (Year 3 Hope) and Charlie (Yr 4 Curious) who all earned their Golden Child Award recently.
Jon and Noah worked together through all the Stem Masters and side-by-side they demonstrated amazing knowledge journeying through masters together! Both students demonstrated amazing perseverance and it was a pleasure to witness them recite facts about many areas of learning at such a young age.
Vincent recorded the fastest time to become a Golden Child. Over three weeks, he basically earned all masters. It was an incredible feat to share so much learning in such a short amount of time. Vincent, like Jon and Noah, has earned the title of Golden Child for the first time. Well done.
Charlie has done it again :) He earned the title of Golden Child in 2024, 2025 and now again in 2026. Well done Charlie!
To earn the title of Golden Child, students share facts about the following 10 Masters: Planets, Solar System, Mouth, Bones, Rainbows, Thunder & Lightning, Towers, Birds, Clouds and all 118 elements of the Periodic Table.
Well done to all four students on such a wonderful achievement!
