Flute Studio Concert

A joyful sound drifted down the corridor of the PAC last week as BMGS flute students gave an entertaining concert. There were those who have just started lessons this year, and bravely made their first public performance, and those who have been playing for years and clearly demonstrated their musicianship and experience in their playing. All students are to be congratulated on their performances. A highlight of the night was when the students formed a flute choir and performed in 3-part harmony “Harry’s Wondrous World” from “Harry Potter”. Truly special.

Our thanks to Mrs Robyn Glindemann, flute tutor extraordinaire, for organising this opportunity for our students and for her spirited performance of "Prelude" from "Carmen". Thanks also to Mrs Julie Cooney for her accompaniment on the night. Bravo to flautists Emily (Year 6), Sy (Year 6), Amy (Year 7), Elena (Year 7), Eva (Year 8), Ruby (Year 9) and Frankie (Year 12)!
