The Science Department is offering an unforgettable international study tour in 2026. This opportunity is open to students who will be in Years 9–11 in 2026.

USA Space Camp and San Francisco Tour

Huntsville, Alabama – US Space & Rocket Centre Space Camp (7 days)

Students will immerse themselves in a world-class residential STEM program. They will:

  • Train like astronauts using the 1/6th Gravity Chair, Multi-Axis Trainer and mission simulators
  • Design, build and launch their own rocket
  • Take part in team-based engineering challenges
  • Learn about space technology, life on the ISS and NASA’s future Mars missions
  • Graduate from Space Camp after completing a full-scale simulated mission
  • All meals and accommodation are provided on-site, making this a fully supported experience.

 

San Francisco Extension (3 days)

After graduation, students will spend three days exploring one of America’s most iconic cities. Highlights include:

  • The Exploratorium, one of the world’s best hands-on science museums
  • A tour of Stanford University, a global leader in technology and innovation
  • A ferry trip to Alcatraz Island
  • Walking across the Golden Gate Bridge
  • Exploring Fisherman’s Wharf and riding San Francisco’s famous cable cars
