Prayer and Acknowledgement

~ Our Biblical text for this year is Isaiah 32:14-18 ~
The prophet Isaiah pictured the desolated Creation without peace because of the lack of justice and the broken relationship between God and humankind.
This description of devastated cities and wastelands eloquently stresses the fact that human destructive behaviours have a negative impact on the Earth.
Our hope: Creation will find peace when justice is restored. There is still hope and the expectation for a peaceful Earth.
To hope in a biblical context does not mean to stand still and quiet,
but to act, pray, change, and reconcile with Creation and the Creator in unity,
metanoia (repentance), and solidarity.
Prayer & Acknowledgement
Loving Creator,
We thank You for the beauty of the earth,
for the changing seasons that remind us of Your care and renewal.
As we journey through this Season of Creation,
help us to notice the gifts of nature all around us—the warmth of the sun,
the whisper of the wind, the life in every tree, flower, and creature.
As this school term comes to an end,
we give thanks for the learning, friendships, and blessings we have shared.
Bless our families with safe holidays,
a time for rest, renewal, and joyful moments together.
May these days refresh our minds and hearts,
so we may return renewed, ready to grow in wisdom and faith.
God of hope,
guide us always as Pilgrims of Creation—caring for our world,
cherishing each other,
and walking in the light of Your love.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Keep In your Prayers and Thoughts...
To any of our students, families, staff and school community
who may be grieving the loss of a loved one.
To all our students and families who are currently unwell.
All our families, we pray to keep them safe and healthy.
"And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith."
~ Matthew 21:22 ~
