YEAR 9 CAMP

Year 9 Camp

Day One

Had a busy day today on year 9 camp. Left KSC at 7.30am. Arrived and took a tram to the MCG where we visited the sports museum and toured the MCG, next we headed to ice skating. It was awesome seeing the perseverance and resilience shown by our students. Our last activity for the day was laser tag, 10 pin bowling and arcade games. We finally got back to our accommodation at 7.30pm where we relaxed on the roof top of the accommodation. It has been a busy but fantastic day with some very exhausted students. 

Day Two 

Another busy day on year 9 camp. Amazing Race in the morning visiting different landmarks around Melbourne finishing in the Carlton Gardens. Old Melbourne Gaol where students completed a tour and participated in a court case. After dinner we went for a wander around Southbank.

Day Three

Final day of year 9 camp. Explored Victoria Market before heading home. 

Thankyou to Mr Douthat, Miss Handley, Miss Marotta, Mr Joyce, Mr Cronin, Mr Biffin and Miss Sorrell for their time on camp in making it a successful experience for our students.

Most of all THANKYOU to our 62 year 9 students for their persistence, resilience and willingness to step out of their comfort zone. Everyone should be proud of what they achieved over the three days including their interactions with the public, tour guides and hostel employees. Thankyou again, rest up and we will see you Monday.
