Primary Sub School Leader

As we come to the end of a wonderful Term 2, I would like to thank our students, families and staff for another fantastic term of learning, growth and collaboration.

Last week, our Primary Sub School proudly celebrated Neurodiversity Celebration Day. Students and staff enjoyed a fun-filled Colour Run, with plenty of laughter, smiles and colourful memories made along the way. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the strengths, uniqueness and individuality of every member of our school community. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success.

Throughout the term, our students have continued to demonstrate curiosity and enthusiasm as they embraced new learning experiences. We are incredibly proud of the progress they have made.

Thank you to our families for your ongoing partnership and support throughout the term. We wish everyone a safe and relaxing break and look forward to welcoming our students back for another exciting term of learning in Term 3.

ROOM 1

Room 1 have been learning routines, learning how to follow schedules and complete tasks. Students have been learning letter sounds through the Love Literacy program. We have also been learning to count to 10 through fun and engaging activities. Students have enjoyed some special activities like swimming and house colour days.

In Room 1 we have been using a variety of AAC and students have responded well to different versions of these with some students learning to use PECS and others using electronic devices.
