As we reach the end of Semester 1, we would like to thank our students, families and staff for their ongoing support, partnership and commitment throughout the year so far.

Semester 1 has been filled with learning, growth and many opportunities for our students to develop their skills, confidence and independence. We are proud of the progress our students have made and appreciate the important role that families play in supporting their learning journey.

We hope the upcoming holiday break provides an opportunity for rest, relaxation and quality time with family and friends. We encourage everyone to take time to recharge and enjoy the break.

We look forward to welcoming students back for an exciting and productive Semester 2.

Wishing all members of our school community a safe, happy and enjoyable holiday.

Semester 1 Reports

Semester 1 reports will be available on the XUNO parent portal Friday 26th June by 4pm.

These reports provide important information about your child's learning progress, achievement and growth throughout the first semester. As a result of industrial action undertaken by the Australian Education Union (AEU) earlier this year, some reports may not include the usual level of descriptive teacher comments. Any blank or incomplete sections reflect the impact of this industrial action and should not be interpreted as a lack of assessment, monitoring or support for student learning.

Please be assured that teachers have continued to assess student achievement, monitor progress and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) throughout the semester. Progress towards each student's personalised learning goals has been reviewed and reported as part of the Semester 1 reporting process.

While some report comment sections may be affected, the information contained within the report, including progress towards IEP goals, provides a meaningful overview of your child's learning and development during Semester 1. We encourage all families to attend their child's Student Support Group (SSG) meeting in Term 3, where school staff and families will have the opportunity to discuss student progress in greater detail, celebrate achievements, review learning goals and collaboratively plan next steps for learning and support.

Please reach out to our admin team or Ellen if you need any support accessing reports.
