News Flash

Hi everybody,
The end of Term 2 has arrived. The wider staff join me in wishing our school community a safe and restful 2-week break. We look forward to seeing our students return in Term 3 on Monday, 13th July.

Early Finish Today
Being that today is our last day of Term 2, our students will finish school at 2pm. Please take note.

Semester 1 Reports
Term 2 has been a very busy time for our community. After establishing your child's Semester 1 IEP, our teachers have been working tirelessly to make sure that each child demonstrates progress in their learning. Our students' Semester 1 Report progress can reflect the acheivement of key milestones not only in their learning, but critical life skills in communication, regulation and personal care; all critical achievement for our students in enhancing their voice and agency as contributors across our school community.

Award of SWPBS Excellence
This term, we were recognised for our excellence in implementing our Tier 1 and Tier 2 Schoolwide Positive Behaviour Support program when presented with the 'Platinum' Award at the recent Hume Merribek Principal Network Meeting. We are 1 of only 4 schools in Hume Merribek to ever receive this award AND the only specialist school in the network. Certainly, a proud moment for our community.

School Policy Updates
In our recent School Council Meeting, we revised the following Mealtime Assistance Policy.
Please feel free to view this and all other JSA policies are accessible via the 'Policies' tab on our JSA Website.
