Student Achievement

Last week at the Tamworth Eisteddfod- Dance section, Kaitlyn Hope competed in various sections of dance throughout the week for her age group. On Monday 9th June, she competed in the Championship and she won first place - Senior Jazz Championship and a workshop scholarship from Lee Academy Performing Arts School on the Central Coast. 

We are very excited to find out that Sonia Chin Year 11 and Jirra Gillon Year 10 have been selected as a finalist in the Let's Hang It 2025 University of New England School Acquisitive Art Prize. The opening of the exhibition will be held from 5pm on Friday 25 July 2025 at the New England Regional Art Museum (NERAM) in Armidale with the prize ceremony commencing at 5.30pm. Invitations will be sent closer to the event.

On June 13th, the New England Regional VET awards event was held. Year 12 student Jack Benjamin was a finalist in the category of VET Student of the Year NSW. 

Unfortunately he did not win in the category but we would like to celebrate his achievement in qualifying as a finalist.
