Curriculum

Year 12 Trial Examinations will run from Monday 4th to Friday 18th August. All students have been issued with a copy of the exam timetable, which has also been emailed to them. They have also received a schedule of study sessions being offered by staff during the school holidays, along with information about the study program available through UNE.
If your child needs support with their preparation, they are encouraged to speak with their subject teachers or contact Heather Burke.
The Year 7-10 academic reports will be distributed via your Compass portal on Tuesday 24th June. These reports provide a comprehensive overview of your child's academic progress throughout Semester 1, including their achievements, areas for improvement, and feedback from their teachers. We encourage you to review these reports with your child and discuss their academic goals and strategies for improvement.
In addition to the academic reports, we invite you to the Year 7-11 Student/Parent/Teacher conferences on Tuesday 1st July 2025. This event will provide an opportunity for you to meet with your child's teachers to discuss their progress, ask any questions you may have, and work together to support your child's academic success. Parents/Carers will be sent an online booking link via Compass when the reports are released.
We believe that open communication between parents, teachers, and students is essential for a successful academic journey, and we value your partnership in supporting your child's education. Your presence at the Student/Parent/Teacher conferences is highly appreciated, and we look forward to seeing you there.
Progress reports for Year 12 will be released via Compass in Week 10. These provide a snapshot of each student’s Work Habits and aim to continue the partnership between school and home to work together to support learning as students approach the Trial HSC exams in Weeks 3 & 4 of Term 3.
In Week 10 of this term, students in Yr 10 will receive a Guide from UAC (Universities Admissions Centre), the centralised organisation that handles applications for most undergraduate courses at universities and TAFEs in New South Wales (NSW) and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). We will notify you when this booklet has been handed out and direct you to our Curriculum website to see course offerings at the College for Year 11 2026, as students begin to consider their post Year 10 pathways. In Week 1 of Term 3 staff will speak to students about the next steps for these pathways. A Parent Information Evening will be held on Tuesday 29th July. Details will be released via Compass in Week 10.
